This months favourites consist mostly of skin care products as I’ve mainly been focusing on finding a great skin care regimen that works for me!
Origins – GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream
This is the only eye cream I have found that I actually see a difference when I use it. Not only does this eye cream decrease puffiness around my eyes in the morning but it also brightens dark under eye circles and makes you look more awake! You can purchase this product at Sephora here.
Origins – High Potency Night-A-Mins Mineral-Enriched Renewal Cream
I love using this cream every night, my skin feels so much more refreshed and moisturized in the morning and my skin texture has been improving the longer I’ve been using this product. This night cream smells really great and has a really smooth formula. A little of this product goes a long way and it will last you a long time if you don’t use too much at once, always start with less product than you think you need, you can always use more later but you can’t put product back in the container. You can purchase this product at Sephora here.
Origins – Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores
This is one of my favourite masks of all time! This mask feels really cooling on the skin when it’s first applied and it doesn’t irritate my skin when I remove it like other charcoal/clay masks sometimes do. My skin and my pores are noticeably clearer and smoother after using this mask and it helps to dry out pimples that are beginning. You can buy this product from Sephora here.
Real Techniques – Miracle Complexion Sponge
I have gone back and forth between the Real Techniques sponge and the BeautyBlender, I find both have similar consistencies and give the same effect, I really don’t see a difference between the two. If you are on a budget I would definitely recommend the Real Techniques sponge which you can get on Amazon here. Sponges are great makeup application tools because they give you a flawless foundation finish, blend concealer like a dream and can be used to apply powders! Since discovering all the benefits of a sponge it is the only tool I use to apply my foundation. Beauty sponges work best when they are damp, the water they absorb keeps them soft and bouncy and also keeps them from absorbing too much foundation but just enough that there isn’t too much caked on your skin.
