Green Smoothie Recipe

Hey everyone!

We made it to Friday! Today’s post is going to be a short one just because of the craziness that is my life recently. Since my life is so fast pace I have another little trick for you guys. I am busy for most of the day and its hard to always eat healthy. I try to pack a salad for lunch everyday but lets be real, that doesn’t always happen! To make sure that I am getting some greens I like to make yummy smoothies and drink it through out the day. So below is a smoothie recipe that I love but as always feel free to mix it up!

Green Smoothie

  • a cup of frozen kale
  • a cup of spinach
  • one small banana
  • teaspoon flax seed/chia seeds
  • half cup orange juice

Now with this recipe you can add as much orange juice as you would like, the more orange juice you add the thinner it will be. Just as a word of warning make sure you add orange juice because it will take the bitterness away from the kale and spinach. Also I like to add frozen kale so I don’t need to add ice cubes!
