It’s been a while since I’ve made a monthly favourites post but I’ve tried out quite a few products lately and I have a lot of favourites from this past month.
ABH Gloss – Butterscotch
I’ve been really into glossy lips lately and not the super matte liquid lip trend going around. My lips have been extra dry this winter so I’ve chosen glosses most days. The gloss I’ve worn basically every day is the ABH gloss in Butterscotch. I received this product as a Christmas present from my sister Amy and I absolutely love it! This gloss is really opaque and creamy, it’s the perfect light pink/peach shade that really compliments my fair-light skin tone.
Smashbox Studio Skin 15-Hour Wear Foundation
I’ve used this foundation for a few months now and it is close to being my all time favourite foundation! I wear this foundation to all special events I go to because it looks amazing in photographs and it matches me perfectly. I apply this foundation with a damp BeautyBlender and it melts beautifully into my skin and sets to a semi-matte finish. This foundation is definitely build-able to achieve your desired amount of coverage. I would say this foundation is medium to full coverage and sets it self, I never have to set my face when I wear this foundation. A common problem I have is that foundations usually crease in my smile lines but that never happens with this foundation.
Koko Lashes – Queen B
I may have mentioned these lashes in an earlier post but I’ve gone through a few pairs of them and they are by far my favourite lashes. These lashes are really long and fluffy and make my eyes seem bigger and more doll-like. I have quite small eyes so it’s great when I can find lashes that make my eye appear bigger but don’t look too ridiculous.
Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Concealer
This concealer has been a lifesaver for my dry under eyes, it’s really hydrating and brightening. I have the lightest shade of this concealer, 10 ivory, but I wish they had something a bit lighter than that one.
Morphe X Kathleenlights Palette
I have used this palette almost everyday I’ve worn makeup because it has all the colours I could want for an everyday look or for a really dramatic look, it’s super versatile. The mattes are really blendable and the shimmers are super pigmented and there is not a single shade in the palette that I wouldn’t use. Morphe is one of my favourite brands because they are amazing quality for the super affordable price.
