Key Components to a Great Christmas Outfit

Hello and Merry Christmas,

To create the perfect Christmas outfit, consider the following:

  1. Stick to wearing the traditional Christmas colours; red, green or gold (sparkly clothing is great). I would suggest picking one of the options and pairing it with something black, unless you want to be extra festive.
  2. A Santa hat is always a great accessory. (or other things like elf hats, snowflake bobbers, reindeer antlers, etc.)
  3. Fabrics such as knitted and sequinned are great to wear for this occasion, it just depends on how much you want to dress up. Sweater material is more casual where as shiny sequins will dress it up and obviously draw more attention to yourself.
  4. A different approach to a holiday outfit that I think looks really classy is wearing all black with red lipstick.

My Christmas Outfit

I decided to wear a knitted turtle neck sweater dress, tights and over-the-knee heels. Even though i’m wearing burgundy, I think that it works as a festive colour. I needed to wear tights under this sweater due to its length, it is almost dress length but if I lifted my arms you would see my butt. I didn’t get a picture in with my shoes on but click on the link below to view them online, I recommend it!

Pantyhose: The Bay
Over-the-knee Boots: Call it Spring (4 Colours) $109.99 CAD

Tacky Sweater

If you’re looking for a funny tacky sweater, I saw some at the Spencers store that I found hilarious! Even if you aren’t planning on buying a sweater, it’s totally worth it to take a look by clicking here. (Some may find offensive)
