I received another Influenster VoxBox a few weeks ago and have tried out all the products I received for quite a while to make sure I have a really good impression of them.
I’m going to start by saying, I was sent these products for testing purposes but all opinions stated are my own, I would never give a product a good review if I did not wholeheartedly believe it was worth it.

L’Oreal Cosmetics Colour Riche La Palette Nude Intense/Nude 2
So on the package of my L’Oreal eye shadow palette it says “Nude Intense” but looking at it in comparison to the other L’Oreal palettes it looks like it is the same as their “Nude 2” palette. I absolutely love the colours in this palette because I find that purples and mauves really complement my eye colour and look really flattering on me. The majority of the colours in the palette are purplely/mauves with only two matte browns. I do wish there were some lighter matte brown colours in the palette to use as transition shades when creating an eye look but the light purple shades work fine as transition shades. The eye shadows in this palette are extremely pigmented but a little difficult to blend out if you haven’t primed your eyelids before application, I use Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Original.
L’Oreal Cosmetics The Super Slim 12hr Infallible Liquid Eyeliner in Black
I was really unimpressed with this product, I found it flaked off, wasn’t very black, and smudged when I was trying to get a precise wing. I ended up having to go over the liner with my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper and cleaning up the edges of the liner from the first attempt with some concealer. Overall I’m not impressed with this product and I prefer my KVD Tattoo Liner.
L’Oreal Cosmetics Carbon Black 16hr Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner in Carbon Black
I am really loving this product lately, I’ve been using it to tightline my upper lash line as well using it in my bottom water line and it stays put for hours without smudging. I have really watery eyes so usually anything I put close to my lash line smudges quite a bit but this product stays put for a very long time. I don’t know if it actually lasts for 16 hours but it’s definitely good for about 8. I also love how there is a small sharpener at the bottom that can be used to keep the pencil sharp and precise.
L’Oreal Cosmetics Voluminous Original Mascara in Blackest Black
I’ve found myself reaching for this mascara regularly and I’ve totally fallen in love with it. I’ve been ride or die for my Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (you can find my review of this product here) for years and haven’t really branched out and tried any other mascaras. This mascara gives my lashes lots of volume, I haven’t noticed any flaking or smudging of this product and it keeps my lashes clump free.
L’Oreal Cosmetics Brow Stylist Definer Ultra-Fine Tip Shaping Pencil in Brunette
I had previously been filling in my brows with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in Chocolate (you can find my review of that product here) and setting them in place with the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper in Medium/Deep (which I purchased previously myself). I love how small and precise the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer Pencil is and, although it does take a bit longer to fill in because it has such a fine tip, I find it makes my brows look really natural and I can create small hair like strokes. The “Brunette” shade of the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Pencil is comparable to the ABH Brow Definer/Pencil/Pomade in Chocolate but slightly cooler toned.
Makeup Looks Using These Products
I created two very different looks with these products, the first look is very neutral and bronzey. I used shades 4 and 6 from the L’Oreal La Palette Nude 2 to deepen up the crease, with a very light hand, and then I used my L’Oreal Infallible Shadow in 002 Hourglass Beige (purchased myself) all over the lid and inner corner. I created a small thin wing with the L’Oreal Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner and tightlined my upper lash line with the L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner to make my lash line appear thicker and then finished off with two coats of the L’Oreal Voluminous Original Mascara, filled in my brows with the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer and set my brows in place with the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper in Medium/Deep (purchased myself). I left the bottom lash line completely bare because I felt like it emphasized the winged liner and the bright shimmery shade on the lid. I ended up pairing this look with a bright red lip which looked really beautiful but if red isn’t your thing you could stick to a neutral gloss, like the one in this picture, or you could pair it with a neutral matte lip, whatever you prefer.
The second look I created with these products is a dark purpley/mauve look with an emphasis on big lashes. From the L’Oreal La Palette Nude 2 I used the shade 3 initially as a transition shade in the crease and then added shade 9 to deepen it more and added shade 10 to the very outer corner of the eye and under my bottom lash line. I used my L’Oreal Infallible Shadow in 002 Hourglass Beige (purchased myself) again all over the lid and in the inner corner, I tightlined my upper lash line with the L’Oreal Never Fail Eyelner and the coated my top and bottom lashes in the L’Oreal Voluminous Original Mascara. I filled in my brows with the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer and set my brows in place with the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper in Medium/Deep (purchased myself). I paired this look with my MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in Brave (see my full MAC lipstick collection here).
