This product is supposedly a new innovation, on Sephora’s website, it says, “This lightweight airbrush blush provides long-lasting, buildable color. The waterproof formula ensures that color will never smudge, run, or fade, while InstaBlend technology creates a fine, even mist for weightless color application”. I purchased the shade “Such a Peach” and have tried it multiple ways. The first time I used the product I hated it because I sprayed it too close to my cheek and I had not done a test spray first to let out a little pressure. After a few uses I got used to the angle I had to spray it on and how far away to hold it, but now that I have the hang of it I love using this product. This shade is a pink-peachy colour with subtle gold flecks. I have applied this product with a brush and straight onto the skin both with makeup on and without. I found the product went on better when sprayed directly on the face but if you try to build it up a bit it gets real dark real quick. After applying the product directly to my face, I occasionally use a brush just to blend the edges. I did not see a difference in the application if I applied it to a fresh face, on a minimal makeup day, or if I was already wearing foundation. The product is really easy to apply and looks really natural. I am considering purchasing another shade because I like the product so much. This product lasts longer than regular powder blushes but I did not notice any waterproofness. The packaging of this product is simple but a little boring. The spray that comes out is a very fine mist and it’s consistent which is important for a natural looking blush.
As a general rating, I give this product an 8/10.
