Strawberry & Oatmeal Smoothie Recipe

April 7, 2017

Hey Guys! Today’s healthy recipe is for a smoothie I’ve been making myself a ton lately. This smoothie tastes great and really fills me up so I’m not snacking in between breakfast and lunch.

  • 2 Packages of Regular Quaker Oatmeal
  • 2 Scoops of Whey Protein Powder (Optional)
  • 3 Tablespoons of Yogurt (Plain or Strawberry)
  • Handful of Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 Cup of Ice Cubes
  • Eyeball Amount of Original Unsweetened Almond Milk to Desired Consistency
  • 1 Raw Egg (Optional)

  • Serves 2
  • Roughly Fills Two 20 oz Shaker Bottles

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glass or travel container and enjoy!

My Thoughts:

I’ve been making myself this smoothie a ton lately because it’s a really easy option when I don’t have time to sit down and eat breakfast in the morning. This smoothie really fills me up so I don’t start snacking in between breakfast and lunch. This recipe makes enough to fill two travel containers so I usually drink one while I’m getting ready and driving to work and then drink the other one mid-morning and have a late lunch.
